Desserts First Fundraiser to Benefit Lubbock Girl Scouts

An annual benefit for a popular group is coming up.

Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains will host Desserts First, a fundraiser featuring desserts made with Girl Scout Cookies and donated by local chefs.

Desserts will be created by chefs from Ambrosia Catering, Cold Stone Creamery, Honeychild Catering, Jimenez Bakery and Restaurant, Lubbock Christian University, and more.

The evening will feature complimentary wines, hors d’oeuvres, music, and a silent auction as well.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 6^th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at McPherson Cellars, located at 1615 Texas Avenue. The cost is $25 per person. Event sponsorships are available beginning at $100.

Proceeds for the event benefit the 3,029 Girl Scouts in the Lubbock region.
