Delwin Jones and Others Announce Republican Candidacy

A veteran of West Texas Politics has announced his candidacy for a previously held seat. Delwin Jones announced today that he will run for his old seat as Texas State House Representative of District 83. That seat is currently held by Charles Perry, who beat out Jones last election. Jones served as a House member from 1964 to 1972 and again from 1988 to 2010. Representative Perry also filed his paperwork for re-election today.
