Governor Rick Perry has appointed a Lubbock resident to the Product Development and Small Business Incubator Board. David L. Miller (pictured) has been appointed to the board for a term to expire Feb. 1st 2013. The board's purpose is to advise Texas's Economic Development Bank on the administration of Small Business Development funds.

Miller has a Masters of Business Administration Degree and Law Degree from Texas Tech. He is the Vice Chancellor of Research and Commercialization at the university. He is also vice president of Omega Mission International and served as past board chair of  Living Abundantly Ministries as well as the National Institute for Renewable Energy.

Three others were appointed to the five-member board today - Ejike Okpa of Dallas, Ricardo Leal of Harlingen, and Molly Jane Dahm of Beaumont. Their terms will expire February 1st, 2017.
