Dan Branch Discusses Candidacy for Attorney General [Audio]

@texansfordan, Twitter

Friday on the Chad Hasty Show, Attorney General candidate Dan Branch talked about his campaign.

Branch hopes to be tougher than Greg Abbott to work to replace the current administration. He said that what distinguishes him from other candidates is that “I’m the one who’s practiced law, been in the private sector, and risen to the top of the profession.” He started and built up his own firm and claims the highest ratings out of candidates in the race.

He noted that he helped advance the rainy day fund, pro-life, pro-second amendment, and court reform. He said, “We’ve got to preserve this limited government model, I think not only to secure our own future for Texas, but the country’s future.” Branch also discussed holes left by the national government, regarding illegal immigration, as well as holding parents accountable for children.
