Four pieces of land seized from a gang in Dallas are being donated to Habitat for Humanity.

The Gator Boyz street gang had purchased the land and homes on them using drug money.

Prosecutors also say the gang terrorized the community by walking an alligator down the street on a leash.

The Gator Boys gang leaders are all in prison serving multi-year sentences.

On Tuesday there will be a transfer ceremony, after which, the homes currently on the properties will be demolished.

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings, Police Chief David Brown and U.S. Attorney Sarah Saldana will be in attendance during the ceremony.
