Covenant Health Systems Receives National Award For Exceeding Patient Expectations

A Lubbock-area hospital has received a national award. Covenant Health System has been awarded Avatar International’s Exceeding Patient Expectations award for 2010.

Avatar International, a research and consulting company for health care quality, says that “Covenant has succeeded in its aim to putting the needs of the patient first.”

The award is decided on three items, which are patient expectation abut quality of care, reliability, and customization during the visit.

Covenant Health System Chief Nursing Officer Karen Baggerly said “We are grateful for this award and our promise is to continue our healing mission and earn this honor from our patients again next year.

500 health care facilities were reviewed for the award.
