Councilman Paul R. Beane [POLL]

City Council races are starting to shape up and one in particular could be pretty interesting. According to reports, Jim Gerlt, Executive Pastor at Bacon Heights Baptist Church will run for District 4 City Council. That seat is currently being held by Councilman Paul R. Beane. Gerlt says that downtown redevelopment and adding to the business mentality of the City Council are a couple of the reasons why he is running for office according to reports.

This race could be pretty interesting. Councilman Beane has many supporters and hasn't really created a stir on the City Council. Gerlt, being a Pastor, obviously has access and name ID to many people. While it's early, we'd like to see where you stand on the race.
