Cookies With Santa At The Jones – Special Olympics Benefit [INTERVIEW]
Thursday on The Chad Hasty Show Michelle Logan from Lubbock Special Olympics joined Chad in the KFYO studio to talk about their upcoming event, Cookies With Santa, which will benefit Special Olympics athletes throughout the region.
It all happens this Saturday (December 03, 2016) from 10:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m. at Jones AT&T Stadium on the west side. The event is being hosted by area athletes and the Tech Club, so will be held in a nice, warm location. Admission is $5, which includes a photo overlooking the stadium with Santa himself, lots of cookies, games, cookie decorating, an "Elfie Selfie" station, and many other activities. Plenty of parking will be available.
Cookies With Santa benefits Special Olympics athletes, not only in Lubbock, but in Amarillo, Abilene, and the Midland/Odessa area as well.
"We were able, with the Special Olympics, to get a little bit of time with Santa for Saturday morning in a very special venue", Logan said, then continued,
It's going to be so much fun, so it will be a great opportunity to get some really cool photographs with Santa overlooking Jones Stadium.
Raider Red may also join in on the fun if his schedule permits.
