On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer talked with Chad and Rex about the latest coming out of Washington.

Concerning President Obama's State of the Union address tomorrow night, Neugebauer said he would like to see Obama talk about cutting the deficit and getting people back to work. However, he says this probably will not be the case.

"This president is about big government, taking a big bite out of the paychecks of hard-working American people and devoting that money to these failed programs to create jobs in this country."

Neugebauer also talked about the GOP race. Now that Rick Perry is out the race, Neugebauer said he is going to just sit back and watch how the race unfolds. He is currently not endorsing any of the remaining candidates.

You can listen to Congressman Randy Neugebauer Mondays at 7:35 on Lubbock's First News.
