On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Congressman Randy Neugebauer talked with Rex Andrew and guest host Allen Corbin about the latest issues going on in Washington.

One of the big stories coming out of Washington is the GOP's attempt to repeal Obamacare, which was upheld by the Supreme Court 2 weeks ago. Neugebauer said that it is apparent that the American people want Obamacare to be repealed, but their request is falling on deaf ears in the Senate. Neugebauer also spoke about job growth in the U.S, citing President Obama as the main culprit of the lack of American jobs.

"Unfortunately, the President doesn't really know much about job creation. He's never been an employer, he's never created jobs, so he really doens't have the skill set to be able to do that. He's always worked for somebody else."

Neugebauer also spoke about the Voter ID law, saying that it should be upheld and that it does not violate any pre-existing law. He also gave his thoughts on tax cuts and the situation in Syria.

You can listen to Congressman Randy Neugebauer Mondays at 7:35 during Lubbock's First News on KFYO.
