Business managers will have an opportunity to get answers to their state tax questions at a seminar in early January.

The Texas Comptroller’s Office will hold a free taxpayer seminar in Lubbock on Monday, January 9th. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to fill out sales tax forms, filing and paying taxes electronically, and other online services which can help manage their accounts online. Representatives will be on hand to answer tax questions and provide assistance.

“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible,” said Texas Comptroller Susan Combs. “Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides much needed expert guidance.”

The seminar will be held on January 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lubbock Small Business Development Center, located at 2579 S. Loop 289, Suite 114.

Those unable to attend can call the tax assistance line at 1-800-252-5555, or visit the Comptroller’s Office website here.
