Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Lubbock County Commissioner Patti Jones (Precinct 4) joined guest host Scott Mann to talk about issues in front of Lubbock County. Texas Senator Charles Perry also joined in the conversation to discuss property tax reform.

Jones and Mann discussed the many responsibilities of County Commissioners, flooding problems, and much more, including the increasing congestion on Lubbock County roads.

While talking about Woodrow Road, it's increasing traffic and accidents, and possible plans to expand the road to 5 lanes, Jones said,

We have been looking at this and studying this to decide how and what's best to do.

Senator Perry, while talking about SB-1 and the need for tax reform, said,

I think that's the heart of this legislation, is giving the voters an active role and voice back into the process of taxation.
