Code Administration to Search East Lubbock Neighborhoods

The City of Lubbock’s Code Administration will search two neighborhoods for violations this week.

The Code Administration section of the Lubbock Police Department will search the Sky View and Clayton Carter neighborhoods on Thursday, May 16^th between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The boundaries of the search are MLK Boulevard and I-27 on the east and west, and Regis Avenue and North Loop 289 on the North and South.

A roll-off dumpster will be provided at their field office, located at 1112 East Regis Street for citizens to dispose of unwanted bulky items such as furniture, appliances, or tree branches.

Code inspectors will be looking for violations such as junked vehicles, nuisance weeds and rubbish, substandard housing, and zoning.
