City of Lubbock to Offer Phone Book Recycling Program

The City of Lubbock is offering a way to recycle your old phone books.

Beginning on Monday, February 10^th, residents can drop off old phone books at any of the four permanent City of Lubbock drop-off locations.

Those locations are:

• South Milwaukee – 7308 Milwaukee Avenue
• North Quaker – 4307 Adrian Street
• Southside – 1631 84^th Street, just west of Avenue P
• Northside – 208 Municipal Drive

The phone book recycling project is a collaboration between the City of Lubbock Solid Waste Services department, Names and Numbers, and Hurley Companies.

Telephone books will be accepted through Monday, March 10^th. The facilities will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
