City Government and Public Schools Closed in Observance of Good Friday

Tomorrow is Good Friday and a number of government offices and schools will be closed in observance of the holiday.

Lubbock ISD students and staff will have a day off, but due to last month’s snow storm they will have class on Monday, April 1st.

City of Lubbock offices will be closed tomorrow and will reopen on Monday at their normally scheduled times. There will be no Trash collection tomorrow either and the recycling centers at 1631 84th street and 208 Municipal Drive will be closed.

The West Texas Landfill and Caliche Canyon Landfill will be closed also. Emergency and essential services will run as normal.
