City Council Candidate Jim Gerlt Talks on KFYO About Issues on Which He Disagrees with Paul Beane

Jim Gerlt is challenging District 4 councilman Paul Beane. That race will be settled in a run-off. On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Beane was asked about issues on which he disagrees with Beane.
“The balloon ordinance. Everybody still remembers that. A lot of people are pretty upset about that. The Maria Elena Holly contract I don’t think is a particularly good contract.
And Gerlt said Beane voted a certain way on one issue because a board member told him to.
