Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Christi Craddick appeared Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show to talk about the energy industries in Texas, recovery of Texas oil and gas production behind Hurricane Harvey, and her reelection bid to the Commission.

"We've got all the ports back open, our refining capabilities are back up to full speed", Craddick said of the rapid progress being made in the wake of Harvey.

Craddick and Hasty discussed many issues, with Craddick explaining changes in relations between Texas' energy interests and the federal government. Craddick said,

When the Obama administration walked out the door, as an agency, we were watching two hundred rules that they wanted to implement, [regarding new regulations on] oil and gas pipelines, coal...clean air, clean water... Today we're watching seven under this new administration.
