Chris Winn,  the former chairman of the Lubbock County Republican Party, had little to say about the man he hopes to replace.  When Winn  was asked about votes cast  by  Neugebauer that Winn disagreed with, he did not name any.  When asked about the one issue he would address if elected, Winn said:

“I think we need to address trust.  The American people do not trust their public officials. "

When asked if  there were any areas in which Neugebauer had not been trustworthy,  Winn said:

“This is not a personal campaign.  This campaign is about standing up for what I believe are the people’s rights, and telling congress it is us against them.”
