Here are just a few things in Chad’s Pile that you will hear on Lubbock’s First News this morning. Give Chad your feedback on the steaming topics.

1.He isn't running. (link)

After having said about 200 different times that he wasn't running for President, NJ Governor Chris Christie announced yesterday that he isn't running for President. Governor Christie answered everyone's question by saying that now wasn't his time, and he is probably right. I like Christie as a person and as a Governor. I think he is steering New Jersey in the right direction, but I'm not sure he could have won the nomination.

First, he'd be entering into the race really late. But second, he isn't conservative enough to satisfy the GOP this year. Granted, NONE of the candidates are really conservative enough for Tea Partiers, but Christie might have been another Rick Perry. Great for a couple of weeks, then lost steam.

If the Republicans don't beat Obama, look for Christie to be at the top of the list in 2012.

2. Occupy Lubbock (link)

The nuts from Occupy Wall Street aren't alone. On Tuesday night a group called Occupy Lubbock was supposed to meet to discuss their organization. I'm sure their list of demands are the same as the folks up north. Of course, no one really knows what those demands are just that Capitalism is evil and everything should be free. 3. Rangers win!

How 'bout those Rangers! The Texas Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3 on Tuesday and now move to the ALCS. I wonder how Jerry Jones feels knowing that he now has the worst team in DFW? Oh well, GO RANGERS!
