Chicken McNugget Diet Sends 17-Year-Old to the Hospital

I like fast food as much as the next person, but I couldn’t imagine eating it every single day for 15 years, much less eating the same thing from the same restaurant every day. Well, that’s what one girl did, and now she’s paying the price.

A 17-year-old was reportedly rushed to the hospital after she collapsed and was struggling to breathe. Once in the hospital, doctors learned that the girl had eaten practically nothing but Chicken McNuggets for the last 15 years. Although doctors have urged her to change her diet or she’ll most likely die, the girl claims that she just can’t quit eating McNuggets.

‘I loved them so much they were all I would eat,’ she said. ‘I just couldn’t face even trying other foods. Mum gave up giving me anything else years ago.’

Talk about your extreme cases of picky eaters. I mean, McDonald’s is fine, but it’s definitely not my first choice of fast food. Honestly, I’m surprised this girl didn’t have health problems sooner. This is like “Super Size Me” gone way out of control.

By the way, a quick note to this girl’s mother: you could have stepped in at any time and said “No,” to your daughter. After all, that little 2-year-old didn’t drive herself to McDonald’s, right?
