1. VP Debate

Well last night's Vice Presidential debate sure was interesting. Does anyone know if Joe Biden is still laughing? Let's look at the debate from two different angles. First, my personal view. I believe that Paul Ryan won last night's debate, but not by very much. Joe Biden was rude and condescending to Paul Ryan all night long. Biden's non-verbal communication was absolutely terrible. The rolling of eyes, grinning, and laughing all came off terrible. Biden also interrupted Ryan too many times. He came off as too aggressive in my opinion. Paul Ryan seemed a bit nervous at first and though he had a few good lines, he didn't knock anything out of the park. Biden, while not stopping the bleeding from the Obama campaign also didn't hurt the campaign either.

Both sides were happy with their candidates.

Now, looking at this debate from the view of the undecided voter, this debate did nothing. While I don't think Biden's rudeness helped him with the undecideds, it didn't hurt him either. The undecideds will wait for the next two Presidential debates to make up their mind. This actually puts more pressure on the President.

Tonight's debate will not move the polls.

2. Obama Staffer Fired (link)

Democrats love to say that Voter ID is pointless because people don't commit fraud. Except for this one Obama staffer of course.

The Democratic National Committee has terminated the employment of Houston, Texas, Organizing For America Regional Field Director Stephanie Caballero after she was caught on camera calling voter fraud “cool” and “so funny” while advising a presumably-liberal voter how to vote twice.

In a comment to the liberal Talking Points Memo, DNC spokeswoman Melanie Roussell accused James O’Keefe and Project Veritas of selectively editing their videos – but admitted that what Caballero did on his tape was wrong and she’s now been fired.

“There is obviously a history here of making selective use of taped material, and we will certainly not vouch for the completeness of what was released,” Roussell said. “However, what we saw was enough for us to take the action that we did.”

Caballero was caught helping a young woman try to vote in Florida and Texas in the upcoming election. At one point on the tape, Caballero said of the voter fraud she was facilitating: “Oh, my God. This is so funny. It’s cool though.”

But voter fraud in Texas is impossible. Right Democrats?

3. Maps Changing? (link)

Polling has maps changing and that's a good thing for Mitt Romney. According to RealClearPolitics, Obama should have 201 electoral votes while Romney should have 181. That means that RealClearPolitics is now saying that 156 electoral votes are toss ups. Many if not most of those are leaning Romney.

You can check out the map above. What are your thoughts?
