Texas Tech is trying to calm everyone down after the ouster of Chancellor Robert Duncan by announcing the Texas Tech Board of Regents is moving forward on a vet school. But was Texas Tech's press release really that big of a deal? If it was, why wait until Wednesday to release it?

Also, Regents at Texas Tech still owe the public answers. Did Governor Abbott's office and/or Texas A&M's Office of the Chancellor lobby any regents at Texas Tech to fire Duncan? And if so, why did they listen to them? Why was Duncan given a vote of no confidence? Texas Tech is owed answers to these questions and more.
