Chad’s Morning Brief: Poor Lubbock Leadership Leads to Vote to Abandon Lubbock Coliseum & Auditorium
Should the voters approve of a plan to abandon the Lubbock Municipal Coliseum and Auditorium? Sure, it's makes sense to do so since it is a money drain and it's obvious that the City of Lubbock has no intentions of renovating either property. But let's also not forget the horrible leadership that led to the conditions of both buildings. The City of Lubbock failed in maintaining tax payer investments at the property and failed to live up to their word in a bond election years ago. Poor leadership led to what will be a vote on May 5.
