More investigative work needs to be done before Congress bans anything. Having said that, the NRA has weighed in on the issue of banning bump stocks, they and some Republicans would like for the ATF to issue a new rule while Democrats want legislation banning bump stocks.99.9% of people who have purchased bump stocks have bought them to have fun with or to kill hogs, not to kill people. That's something both parties should remember.
