Who Read Hillary's Emails? No One

According to FOX News, the roughly 30,000 emails that Hillary Clinton deleted because they were personal in nature were never double checked.

NO ONE READ HILLARY EMAILS BEFORE DESTRUCTION
How did Hillary Clinton know that the tens of thousands of emails from her time in office she ordered destroyed were personal? Did she or even her staff scroll through her sent items scanning emails about “yoga routines” or “family vacations” before deleting them? Nope. No one looked at them. The Clinton campaign said those emails that did not crop up in a keyword search performed by her team were automatically deleted. No eyes. No one to be subpoenaed. Just highlight all and press delete. That method seems better for missing emails than to finding them. And it would sound reckless and haphazard coming from another politician. In this case, though it sounds like a woman covering her tracks in preparation for a long and bloody legal fight over subpoenas to come.

For more than a year after she left office in 2013, she did not transfer work-related email from her private account to the State Department. She commissioned a review of the 62,320 messages in her account only after the department–spurred by the congressional investigation–asked her to do so. And this review did not involve opening and reading each email; instead, Clinton’s lawyers created a list of names and keywords related to her work and searched for those. Slightly more than half the total cache–31,830 emails–did not contain any of the search terms, according to Clinton’s staff, so they were deemed to be ‘private, personal records.’”

Well that sounds like everything is on the up and up doesn't it? Seriously, how does a former Secretary of State get away with this? Hillary Clinton knew exactly what she was doing and now it appears as though she was hiding something.

What will lawmakers do? How far will Republicans push for an investigation?

Perry in New Hampshire

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry was in New Hampshire on Thursday as he looks ahead to 2016. While in New Hampshire Perry touted his ability to compromise and get along with Democrats. According to the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, there was one issue where Perry said there would be no compromise, Iran.

Asked at a business breakfast whether he would be able to work with a divided Congress as president, Perry said that his experience working with Democrats as governor would serve him well in Washington.

"Governors don't have the luxury of just having a conversation, giving a speech and walking away," he said. "There was not one big thing that happened in the state of Texas — not tort reform, not education reform, not those big budget issues — that was done with just Republicans."

Asked about the letter Republican senators recently sent to Iran's leadership, Perry said some issues are too important for compromise.

"That's a really bad example of finding a place we can work together, because there are some things so important, we can't compromise our principles," he said.

I don't know if the whole compromise argument works for Perry, as he didn't really have to compromise much while Governor. Republicans were the party in power during Perry's tenure. Plus, many conservatives don't want to hear about Republicans compromising if they win in 2016. Maybe it plays well in New Hampshire, but I'm not sure.
