On Thursday, Chad Hasty talked about the ongoing row between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump, with Bush criticizing Trump's stance on immigration after Univision's Jorge Ramos being escorted out of a recent Trump press conference.

Hasty explained that Ramos is an opinion provider, not a reporter, and believes that Trump's campaign made the right move in removing Ramos. Ramos was subsequently allowed back into the press conference, and was given substantial time to ask Trump questions.

Jeb Bush has since been deriding Trump's proposals on immigration and building a wall on the nation's southern border to seal off illegal immigration.

On the topic of Trump's candidacy, Steve from Midland called in to talk about the issue, stating what he believes needs to happen to get the United States back on the right track. The discussion turned to what prevented Former GOP candidate Mitt Romney from winning the last presidential election. Hasty said,

Let me tell you why Mitt Romney lost. It's real easy why Mitt Romney lost Conservatives didn't show up to vote. They were disappointed, they were upset, and a lot of conservatives, and this is true, acted like children, because they didn't get a Tea Party-er, or they didn't get the uber-conservative, they didn't get Rick Santorum, they didn't get Huckabee, and so they stayed home. That's why Mitt Romney lost.
