Chad Hasty Show Afternoon Update: New York Times & Politico Turning on Obama After NSA Verizon Phone Tracking Story, GOP Shouldn’t Worry About Texas Yet, & More

Ariel Walden,

The most transparent administration ever is what President Obama promised but the New York Times isn’t buying it anymore. In fact, the New York Times Editorial Board doesn’t sound too happy with the Obama administration at all.

Democrats think they can celebrate the fact that the GOP is spending money in Texas even though Republicans knew they were going to have to months ago. Congrats Democrats, you made Republicans do what they were already going to do. In my opinion there is no reason for the GOP to hit the panic button on Texas yet. That doesn’t mean to ignore Texas and take it for granted though. Democrats? Stop the celebrating.

Did you know that people are smoking alcohol now? All those stories are included in today’s Afternoon Update. Listen and comment below.
