Wednesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Carl Tepper joined the broadcast from Cleveland at the Republican convention. Tepper is calling in each day this week as a delegate from the convention keeping the audience posted on speeches and events.

Tepper first provided a quick roundup of yesterday's gathering, where Donald Trump was officially voted in as the party's nominee. Hasty then brought up the fact that during the convention so far, little or no mention of Donald Trump was made during speeches by prominent Republicans such as Paul Ryan, Chris Christie, Rick Perry and others, and asked Tepper his opinion of that trend. Tepper replied,

You picked up on it, and I think that's a mistake. I think it's a mistake on those speakers. I think that they are still incredibly disconnected from the electorate right now.
