On Thursday’s edition of Lubbock’s First News, Jeff Allen from CNBC’s Car Chasers talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about an upcoming event for car lovers all over Lubbock.

“Carmageddon” will be coming to the Hub City this October. The event will feature many different car shows from various car groups in Lubbock and West Texas, as well as a classic car auction and Autocross time-trial racing. Allen said he hopes the event will showcase the car culture in Lubbock and encourage other similar events to come to the Hub City. Carmageddon will also be featured on “Car Chasers” as part of the Season 3 season finale.

Carmageddon will take place October 4th at the City Bank Coliseum. Tickets will be $5 general admission, and kids 12 and under get in free. “Car Chasers” can be seen on CNBC. For more information on Jeff Allen and the Car Chasers, visit their website at flat12gallery.com.
