CapRock Winery and Junior Vasquez Team Up For Music Listening Venue [INTERVIEW]
Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, local musician Junior Vasquez and one of the new owners of CapRock Winery John English, were in the KFYO studio to talk about their new weekly music event kicking-off this Thursday evening.
Every week on Thursday evenings local musicians will be performing at the winery in an after-hours, distraction-free listening environment. There will be a rotating lineup of food trucks available, as well as half-priced bottles of wine. The gathering begins at 6 p.m., with music starting promptly at 7 p.m.
The events are entitled, Junior's Listening Room Where Music Meets Wine.
About their goals with the concerts, Vasquez said:
I wanted to create a different type atmosphere, a different type of venue, for us as musicians and also for people that are what I call music connoisseurs, where you can have a place where you can go sit down and actually listen.
This Thursday, April 30, Junior Vasquez and Andy Wilkinson will be performing, and The Chopped and Sliced food truck will be on site.
