Cameron Sasnett is the founder and CEO of Elect Logic, a polling and ballot firm.  On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Sasnett suggested that a fourth or fifth place finish in the Iowa caucus is not an automatic kiss of death in the race for the Republican nomination:

“As close as everything is, --  I think even fourth and fifth place finishes -- and [considering]   the different type of states that are going to be in play for this primary process, I wouldn’t count anybody out specifically for where they finish.  Just depends on how well they react, pick up the ball and start heading to their end zone."

Sasnett said that because of the way delegates are allotted this year, the primary process will be going on for quite a while.
