Business Owner Indicted for Selling Synthetic Marijuana

Yesterday (May 19), a Lubbock man was indicted for possession of a controlled substance.

KAMC News reports that 50 year-old Anthony Carter (pictured above) was selling synthetic marijuana at his three Tobacco Road smoke shops.  The locations were 2908 Parkway Drive, 2805 Avenue Q, and 4202 Avenue A.

Officials filed a long list of civil court records against Carter trying to permanently take money, cars, and his businesses away from him.

Carter is held in the Lubbock County Detention Center as of Friday (May 19) afternoon on a $75,000 bond.
