Business Owner Honors Fallen Marine By Offering Free Service To Military Families
Erica Miller is the owner of the Woodhouse Day Spa in Kingsgate Center. To show her appreciation for the men and women in the military, she decided to give a gift of stress relief and renewal to active military families.
Specifically, she decided to offer a complimentary 50-minute Swedish massage, a soothing facial or a hydrating ginger pedicure from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday, July 5).
The event is in honor of her cousin’s husband, Captain Joshua Meadows, who was killed while fighting in Afghanistan.
“That made it very personal for me, and I’m always trying to think of ways we can honor Angela and Josh’s sacrifice,” Miller said.
Miller intends for this to be an annual event.
