A federal grand jury in Lubbock Thursday returned a seven-count indictment against a Brownwood man for child pornography offenses.

29 year-old Jacob Aniceto Jose Villarreal was indicted on one charge of production of child porn, four charges of receipt of child porn and two counts of possession of child porn.  Villarreal has been in federal custody since June on unrelated charges.

If convicted of the production count against him, Villarreal faces minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison. If convicted of the receipt counts, each count carries a minimum of five years and a maximum of 20 years in federal prison. Finally, if convicted of the possession counts, each count carries a maximum of 20 years in federal prison. Also, each conviction upon each count carries a maximum fine of $250,000 and the possibility of a lifetime of supervised release.
