On the Friday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Brandon Darby, managing director of Bretibart Texas, spoke with Chad Hasty about the latest news from the US-Mexico border.

Darby has spent a lot of time on the US-Mexico border reporting on the continuing border crisis. He explained that most of the influx of immigrants is taking place in the Rio Grande Valley sector of the border, which has left the other sectors of the border "widely unsecured," as many border patrol agents are being redirected to the Rio grande sector to deal with the massive number of children crossing the border.

Although the story broke only recently, Darby said that this crisis has been growing since 2009. He added that Obama and his administration knew full well about the situation on the border, but still claimed that the border was secure and mocked conservatives for their concerns. Darby also chastised not just Obama, but the entire administration for being dishonest about the whole situation.

"What we have is an administration from the top to the bottom that's being very, very dishonest. And if it weren't for the men and women of the border patrol and the Border Patrol union who are speaking out, none of us in the American public would know anything going on in this situation."

Darby also spoke about the restrictions being placed on anyone wanting to talk about tie situation. He said that both doctors and law enforcement are being threatened by the administration to not speak up, and that journalists are being forbidden form taking photos or videos of the situation.
