Brandt Schneider Named as Dean of Texas Tech Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences

The new dean of a graduate school at Tech has been announced.

Brandt L. Schneider, Ph.D. has been named as the dean of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Schneider has a history of grant funding and research, and has been recognized for his teaching and academic service.

“Dr. Schneider’s experiences have prepared him to be an excellent leader and an individual highly knowledgeable of our graduate student programs,” said TTU Health Sciences Center President Tedd L. Mitchell.

Schneider joined the TTUHSC School of Medicine Department of Cell Biology and Biochemistry in 1999. He replaces Douglas M. Stocco as dean.
