Bomb Squad Called Out To Lubbock Federal Building To Investigate Suspicious Package [UPDATED]

The Lubbock Police Department has said a suspicious package that was found reportedly on the loading dock of the George Mahon Federal Building in Lubbock is not a threat. The Bomb Squad, EMS, and Fire Department were all been called out to the scene.
Police blocked off streets surrounding the Federal Building, including Broadway and the Buddy Holly intersection. Police did not order the building to be evacuated, but each office could choose to leave.
A worker on the east loading dock of the building saw the package, which he says was not there earlier in the morning, and it seemed a bit out of place. The worker called Lubbock police around 9:30 Friday morning.
