KWTX reported Monday that a body found on Fort Hood near BLORA last week has now been identified.

Official say the remains belong to a retired Navy Seaman by the name of Craig Nobel.

Nobel's body was discovered on November 20th around 11:00 p.m. in the Lake Belton area and the Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area.(BLORA)

Officials at BLORA said Nobel was registered at the BLORA Deer Park RV lot, and a family member said Nobel's kin had reported him missing.

According to a media release issued by the Fort Hood press center, the circumstances surrounding Nobel's death are under investigation by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID). According to Chris Grey, spokesman for CID, foul play is not suspected at this point in the investigation.
