Bob Bluthardt, site manager at Fort Concho National Historical Landmark in San Angelo, recently visited with Tom Collins and Laura Mac on Lubbock's First News on KFYO and discussed the 33rd annual "Christmas on Old Fort Concho" celebration.

Bluthardt called the event, "Three days of food, fun, living history, shopping and entertainment and just more fun than humans should have."

The festivities are slated for December 4-7, 2014. A kickoff concert featuring Michael Martin Murphy at the Cavalry Stables Hall will be held on the 4th. Individual tickets are priced at $25 and there are also tables and sponsorship opportunities available too. For more information on tickets and pricing visit their website at FortConcho.com

Since the concert is being held Thursday night, it is separate from regular admission tickets for December 5-7. Day passes are priced at $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and military personnel, $3 for children ages7-17, and children under the age of 7 are admitted for free.

"Christmas at Old Fort Concho" tours will begin on December 5 at 9 am.
