Prom is one of the rites of passage of high school. And Lubbock's Bliss Bridal Boutique is doing an amazing dress drive to donate to girls who don't have one.

Let's be honest. Prom dresses are the biggest rip-off ever next to bridesmaids dresses. You wear it once and you're done. And they often cost hundreds of dollars! Most American families can't afford that. I personally wouldn't pay that much out of principal. Of course, my daughters haven't gone to prom yet, so that could change.

No matter whatm there are plenty of young ladies who might not even want to go to prom simply because they can't afford one of those dresses. So Bliss Boutique is doing a prom dress drive at their location on 50th Street in Lubbock.

If you, or someone you know has a gently-used prom gown you would like to donate, you can drop it off at their store, located at 3806 50th Street, Suites 100-108. And if you, or someone you know, is in need of a dress for their prom this year, get in touch with Bliss Boutique.

This is a local business that has supported Lubbock, and especially Lubbock women and girls at all levels, for years. Bliss Boutique is a fantastic store owned by Kristi Cook, who also owns Kristease Studio and Intimate Expressions. All three stores are located at 3806 50th Street near Memphis in Lubbock.
