On Tuesday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Scott "Bones" Kimbell of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about his organization and how they help children in need.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. BACA is an international organization that aims to create a safe environment for victims of child abuse. The bikers provide support and security by riding alongside the kids as they go to school and to court, and in some cases, also being present at the house of the victim.

Kimbell explained that children in these situation are often very scared, and by having these bikers present and supporting them, it gives the children the courage to move forward. He added that while BACA does not in any way condone using violence, he and his fellow bikers stand ready to protect these kids by any means necessary.
