Some area cyclists will participate in two day bike rides to support an organization dedicated to funding research and improving the lives of those with multiple sclerosis.

The Bike MS: Ride the Rim ride will be held on June 22nd and 23rd and will offer route options for cyclists of every level, ranging from 64 to 105 miles on Day One to 25 miles on Day Two. Cyclists will have the opportunity to enjoy a scenic ride around the rim of the Palo Duro Canyon in Palo Duro Canyon State Park.

Ride the Rim begins and ends at 2501 4th Avenue in Canyon.

The Bike MS: Cactus and Crude ride will be held on July 20th and 21st and will begin at the Apache Corporation, North Financial Building in Midland, and will finish at the Southwest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf in Big Spring on Day One. Day Two will finish at the City Park in Post.

Dinner will be served at the end of Day One, and breakfast will be served before setting off on the ride of Day Two.

The registration fee for each event is $25, and each one carries a fundraising minimum of $250.
