Between now and the November election, get ready to see a lot of polls in the race between Ted Cruz and Beto O'Rourke for U.S. Senate.

On Tuesday, Quinnipiac released a poll of likely voters that had Senator Ted Cruz leading his Democratic challenger, Rep. Beto O'Rourke, by 9 percent.

A day later, an online poll was released from Ipsos and Reuters with results going the other way.

According to the Texas Tribune, in the online poll from Ipsos, Rep. O'Rourke leads Senator Cruz by 2 percentage points.

It's the first poll that has shown O'Rourke with the lead. In the poll, 47 percent of respondents picked Beto O'Rourke, and 45 percent chose Ted Cruz.
