Many residents in Lubbock get into the Christmas spirit, and their homes reflect that. Here's where to see some of the best Christmas light displays in and around the Hub City.

  • Lakeridge

    Many residents in this neighborhood, located between Quaker Avenue and Slide Road on the east and west, and 82nd and 98th Streets on the north and south, enjoy decorating their homes for the season.

  • Tech Terrace

    This historic neighborhood just across 19th Street from the Texas Tech campus has a number of festively decorated homes. The area also offers holiday tours of specific homes that are specially decorated for the Christmas season.

  • Ransom Canyon

    This city largely consists of homes overlooking a lake just fifteen miles east of Lubbock. Many stately homes light up with the Christmas spirit in the Ransom Canyon community, and offers a scenic drive throughout the area as well.

  • Vintage Township

    The neighborhood offers a look back to a time when life was somewhat simpler. The Traditional Neighborhood Development located off of 114th Street and Quaker Avenue offers what they call a “traditional winter wonderland.”

  • Texas Tech University

    The Texas Tech campus will be illuminated by more than 25,000 red, orange, and white lights following the university’s annual Carol of Lights. The school will be lit each night from dusk until midnight through January 1st.
