On Friday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Tonja Hagy from the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about this month's First Friday Art Trail.

The First Friday Art Trail will be taking place tonight, May 3rd, in downtown Lubbock, where various galleries across downtown will have special exhibits and artists on display. This month, former Red Raider football player Baron Batch will be making a special appearance at the Lubbock Arts Alliance Gallery, located at 1717 Texas Avenue. Batch was recently the featured artist at this years Lubbock ARTS festival. He will be available at the gallery from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

The First Friday Art Trail is held the first Friday of every month from 6 PM to 9 PM at various galleries in downtown Lubbock. For more information and a full listing of gallery locations, visit their website at ffat.org.
