In the wake of last month's cold-blooded murders in Charleston, SC, political correctness continues to accelerate uncontrolled. Little by little, piece by piece, the history and traditions of the United States are being banned, or removed from places of honor, all in the name of not offending anyone.

An article in Wednesday's edition of The Connecticut Post detailed the Connecticut Democratic Party's renaming of their annual fundraising dinner, The Jefferson Jackson Bailey Dinner. The state's Democratic leaders voted unanimously to change the name of the dinner.

Nick Balletto, the Democratic chairman in the state, is quoted by the CTPost saying, "When something offends someone, it’s beyond being politically correct." Balletto continued, "It just causes a need for change."

Following this action, and taking into consideration other moves across the nation to remove all traces of the South, God and Christianity from any public location, what will be the next move by the PC police?

I believe we can expect to see the words, "In God We Trust" scrubbed from American currency soon.
