Authorities Seek Copper Thief
Authorities are seeking a man who burglarized a vehicle, stealing copper from the truck bed. The suspect used bolt cutters to cut loose copper from the back of the truck. He was captured stealing the copper in surveillance footage near 77th and Iola Avenue.
He is described as a heavy-set Hispanic man standing between 5’7 and 5’10 with short black hair and a hooded jacket. Authorities say he could have been driving a four-door silver passenger car.
