Authorities Find Dead Body in Scurry County
Texas DPS, along with the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers are investigating a dead body found Saturday in Scurry County. KAMC 28 reports the body was decomposed with little details immediately available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says law officers on Sunday removed the remains from an undisclosed location in Scurry County near Snyder. Trooper Sparky Dean says further details on the site have not been made public as investigators seek to preserve the scene.
The body will be examined by either the Lubbock County or Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
