Rob is a native Texan, graduate of Klein High School in north suburban Houston and attended Texas Tech University before joining KFYO & SportsRadio 1340 The Fan in January 2001.

Thursday afternoon, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service ruled that the lesser prairie chicken is a "threatened" species and is entitled to protections under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The lesser prairie chicken has habitats in five states, including Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma
David Brenner (pictured second to the left, next to George Carlin), a comedian who appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show more often than any other guest, has died. ABC News Radio reports Brenner was 78 years old.
