Rob Snyder is currently the News & Operations Director for News/Talk 790, KFYO and SportsRadio 1340 The Fan in Lubbock; & Brand Manager for Pratt on Texas affiliate News/Talk 1470, KYYW in Abilene. He also previously served as the Network Producer for Texas Tech Football & Red Raider Basketball from 2001-2004. Rob is a native Texan, graduate of Klein High School in north suburban Houston and attended Texas Tech University before joining KFYO & SportsRadio 1340 The Fan in January 2001. You'll hear him in a variety of places: contributing to SportsRadio 1340 The Fan, anchoring newscasts on KFYO and filling in for Robert Pratt on Pratt on Texas. 9-1-1 Service Restored for Windstream Communications Customers

9-1-1 and long distance service has been restored for Windstream Communications customers throughout the South Plains and Texas Panhandle.  Windstream officials tell KFYO News that the service was restored just after 6p.

Robbery Suspect Arrested Near Texas Tech Campus

A 26 year-old man was arrested in Lubbock after a robbery during the overnight hours.

Mathew Robles allegedly pulled a knife on a person in the 900 block of Avenue U around 1:45 this morning.  Robles took the victim’s keys, and other property, and fled by foot to the 2200 block of Glenna Goodacre
